Word on the street is that more EoJ bundles are showing up around the place. While we can offer no definitive proof, personal accounts of people finding the bundle are popping up. This is great news for people who have had poor luck just trying to find the game — much less the Phantom cards.
What isn’t arriving are booster packs. Stores are still sold out and you’ll be a lucky person to find a couple hanging on the shelves. However, atleast in Canada, Boosters are expected to arrive at card shops on the 3rd of November provided there is no shipping delay.
This begs an interesting question, did Sony underestimate the popularity of the game? You can’t blame them for holding back on shipments, there are a lot of moving parts to the EoJ that could scare off the average consumer. News like this is very encouraging not only for the fact it’s always great to see a game you like to well in sales but for the staying-power of EoJ.
It will be a sigh of relief when anyone who wants or is curious about Eye of Judgment is able to get their hands on the game and cards. It’s only a matter of time now but for those that are just finding the game, be sure to check out the new players guide.
As with any card game, there will always be new cards added to the mix to change up strategies. Eye of Judgment will be no different. While changes won’t be a earth shattering as a new element (it would totally change the gameplay) or inserting new types other than creatures and spells, there could be some crazy abilities down the road.
It appears that some EoJ fans on the internet are having trouble locating the Blu-ray disc + the PlayStation Eye bundle in parts of America. Booster packs seem to have made it to store shelves but the anecdotal evidence seems to point at shipping troubles? The reason for the question is because we just don’t know at this point but we’ll try and investigate further.
